School starts August 14, 2019, so we’re sending off our students and teachers into the new school year with a special time of blessing during our regularly scheduled worship hour. A church-wide potluck luncheon will follow.

This year, we’re adding a mission component: during worship we’ll hold an offering of backpacks—backpacks will be donated to children at Sandy Lane Elementary School in Clearwater. Here’s what we need from you: bring a new kid’s backpack filled with the supplies listed below. During the opening hymn that Sunday, participants will be invited forward to drop their backpack offering on the chancel. Be sure to sign up for the potluck luncheon, and invite any students and teachers you know to join us August 11!
