Chapel by the Sea aspires to be a beacon of God’s love, inviting people into a vibrant life with Christ.

As an inter-denominational Christian faith community, we share common commitments to:

We are a community comprised of year-round residents, regular part-year residents, visitors from the neighborhood, and beach tourists. Youth and children’s programming is year-round, as are adult educational opportunities. Inspirational sermons and incredible music highlight Sunday worship services.

We’re serious about missions and outreach.

We encourage each of our members to find a place of service, using their gifts and talents. Partnering with several local non-profits, we care for individuals and families facing homelessness and inadequate housing, domestic violence, food insecurity, and medical issues. We also engage in international projects related to hunger and disaster relief. Chapel folks drive, walk, and paint. We donate food and clothes, time and blood. We deliver meals; we pick up food; we cook; we serve; we organize events; we participate, we eat, we laugh, we have fun.

Chapel by the Sea partners with a network of churches called the International Council of Community Churches, one of the leading church fellowships who first embraced and promote racial integration in the 1950’s. Our fellowship continues to embrace the rich diversity of churches within the ICCC. Through our participation in the ICCC, we participate in the National Council of Churches and support Church World Service.
